We are looking for a "Machinery Sales Manager" for our business partner who is operating in the marine machinery sector.

Planning the sales, marketing, strategy and targets of the machinery and equipment under his/her responsibility in coordination with HQ and the Managing Director, and performing the sales/marketing and planning activities in line with this.
Establishing and carrying out machine sales activities within the knowledge and by the approval of the Managing Director.
Maintaining constant and close contact with the customers within the scope of the product, for which he/she is responsible, consisting of the ship owners, ship operators and shipyards and investors of land based power plants, and having accurate and up-to-date information about the status of the market, developments in the market and the activities of competitors.
Expanding the customer portfolio within the market.
Providing technical support/information to the customer by working in coordination with the relevant technical departments of HQ as required and in line with the demands of the customer.
Establishing coordination between the relevant sales departments of the parent companies abroad and the customer, forwarding the offer requests from the customers to HQ and ensuring that the offers received from HQ are delivered to the customer correctly in terms of technical and commercial conditions.
Ensuring regular exchange of information about project activities with the parent companies abroad, making mutual assessments and reporting regularly.
Developing sales and marketing strategies for machinery in line with the general objectives of the company.
Conducting market researches and presenting the market status information and the projects to the Managing Director in the most current manner.
Performing budget planning for machinery sales with the approval of the Managing Director.
Ensuring the realization of planned sales/turnover figures.
Following up the targeted and realized machinery sales figures, issuing the required analyses and reports, and submitting regular reports to the Managing Director every month.
Taking the measures required at the right time in order to achieve the targets.
Following up the receivables related to the projects in coordination with the parent companies abroad.
Keeping the records of documents and relevant reports for all activities and works included in his/her job description in accordance with ISO requirements, and filing these records.
Ensuring that the lists including the quotes placed for the current projects and the project activities realized are kept up to date, and submitting regular reports to the Managing Director every month.


University graduate (Naval Architecture Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering),
Approx. 10 years or more of experience in sales or customer project management,
Detailed understanding of the business on both technical and commercial levels,
Verbal and written fluency in English and other locally required language(s),
Proficiency in Microsoft-Office package (Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, Excel),
High degree of customer orientation,
Knowledge about the company’s marine propulsion systems and solutions,
High degree of business orientation, entrepreneurial mindset,
Very good communication and administrative skills,
Strong networker, engaging, well aware of the local market,
Solution oriented mind-set regarding conflict management,
Teamwork ability,
Flexibility and situational skills,
International business experience and orientation,
Ability to develop strategies,
Confidence to communicate on all customer seniority levels,
