We are looking for a 'Medical Advisor' for our global client operating in pharmaceutical industry.

Acting as company medical contact for both internal and external partners in interactions and communications requiring medical knowledge and medical expertise on company products and relevant therapeutic areas.
Actively contributing to the medical support of the scientific, medical and educational activities organized by company in Turkey in adherence with company values and Code of Responsible Business Practice, regional company processes, relevant local and international codes and regulations.
Ensuring internal training and continuous medical support for the sales and marketing organization and for the medical review of promotional and educational materials, as per regional, national and company procedures and guidelines.
Engaging with key thought-leaders, Health Care Professionals, regional / local institutions and organizations in the territory through appropriate high-level scientific interaction. Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Communication / Scientific Activities
Actively participates in the preparation of scientific, promotional and educational events in Turkey and provides medical expertise needed for preparing these events. Acts as company presenter during internal trainings of sales and marketing organization within Turkey or external events organized by company with participation of health care providers. Is involved in establishing and maintaining business relationship with key opinion leaders (KOLs), with key health care administrative bodies, public health organizations and deals with all medical aspects of these interactions. Identifies, develops and fosters excellent relationships with KOLs in related therapeutic areas of company and establishes strong network by maintaining regular contact with KOLs. Ensures strong medical presence in the field via regular KOL visits and field medical affairs activities. Serves as the trusted scientific partner to key external experts by conducting timely, appropriate and frequent scientific exchanges to enhance the understanding of the scientific and medical value of company’s products Medical Review Process of Promotional / Educational Materials
Is responsible for medical review of promotional materials with respect to scientific accuracy and compliance with company values and Code of Responsible Business Practice, regional company processes, relevant local and international codes and regulations.
Ensures medical input and support in selection of scientific data to be presented in promotional materials, in line with medical evidence and regulatory requirements. Internal Training and Educational Support
Is responsible for preparing and updating employee-training programs focused on medical aspects of company products. Prepares medical trainings and educational materials for company products, product comparisons and competitor reviews.
Is responsible for distributing medical updates within the organization and providing timely, accurate and appropriate written and verbal information in response to medical related queries received from internal and external parties, in alignment with company procedures and relevant local and international legislation. Internal Customer Support
Maintains an active interface with internal customers (marketing, market access, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, customer service, other medical colleagues, etc.) in order to meet their medical information requirements both reactively and proactively.
Collaborates with marketing in identifying relevant KOLs in relevant therapeutic areas and maintains a speaker and local KOLs database. Scientific Support to Sales Force
Ensures and documents periodical training and certification of product knowledge of the sales force. Ensures continuous medical support and communication with the sales force. Provides field visits or medical presentation support to sales force when necessary. Compliance
Serves as an expert for sales and marketing organization on matters of compliance with all applicable codes of conduct, local and international regulations and company local / regional / global SOPs.


Degree in medicine (MD)
2+ years' relevant pharmaceutical/ bio-pharmaceutical industry experience
General clinical trial experience
Knowledge of therapeutic specialty area
Advance level of English
Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills
