job description

We are looking for a 'Sales Manager' for our global client operating in textile industry.

Develop short and long term sales strategies to deliver revenue and profitability targets
Prepare annual strategic business plans and AOP
Manage Sales Forecasting
Lead the Sales team
-by setting sales targets for each individual in alignment with AOP and Forecast
-to prioritize initiatives and activities to ensure that they achieve forecast / AOP and their individual sales targets in their designated areas and meet customer expectations.
Strategically plan for:
-Key growth initiatives
-Continuing and expanding current business
-Obtaining new business
Responsible for people management: Develop, recruit, train, evaluate, motivate and retain optimum number of sales team in conjunction with the HR Department
Negotiate and oversee prices in line with company policy and practice
Build deep understanding of local market information
Share info/knowledge, build alignment, partner with Commercial teams
Collaborate with CS, Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure service requirements are met
Collaborate with peers in other countries/regions to drive best practices across the company
Compile and analyse monthly sales reports
Liaise with other departments to ensure that a quality product is delivered to the customer according to or exceeding expectations.
Continuously improve the processes and systems of the Sales Department, and provide feedback to the process improvement of other departments
Continuously update awareness of competitor activity as well as those in the customer services, supply chain and production departments.
Responsible from company policies , procedures and regulations are followed at all times and to protect confidentiality of company and work related information at all times

qualification

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
10+ years successful sales or related experience of which 5 years in a managerial capacity. Industry and product experience preferred.
Significant apparel industry and/or retailer experience and/or related industry (e.g. suppliers for retail apparel) experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated successful experience in a sales position that involved negotiating complex transactions with upper-level management positions or similar experience
Skilled in developing sales penetration and growth strategies
Excellence financial and analytical skills, business acumen
Ability to lead and motivate a high performing sales team and drive for results
Skilled in conducting market analysis, planning, forecasting
Skilled in communicating effectively and appropriately with all levels of management (internal and external) on any business topics
Should have excellent interpersonal, marketing, selling, analytical, decision making, problem solving, communication and presentation skills
A hands on approach with the ability to see the big picture
Fluent in Turkish and English
