We are looking for an "Accounting Reporting Manager" for insurance sector.

-Make sure that the daily accounting activities required maintaining the local statutory general ledgers are booked in accordance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.

-Supervises, directs, and reviews the work of the accounting staff (including, but not limited to, cash reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, accounts receivable transactions, fixed asset activity, payroll, recording of revenue and expenses, etc.).

-Ensures that expense procedures are in place and make sure expenses are booked in a correct/timely manner.

-Review's general ledger on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy of posting.

-Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.

-Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.

- Assist the Controller in the daily banking requirements especially in payment orders.

-Ensure the accurate and timely processing of daily bank payment transactions.

-Ensure the monthly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.

-Supports budget and forecasting activities.

- Understand the differences between US GAAP and local GAAP and incorporate into the local accounts, as appropriate

-Provide help to finance officer in regards to Local to US GAAP reconciliation by providing necessary information from Local Ledgers and needs to provide support in resolving any unreconciled piece both in US GAAP side and local side. Payroll and other expense reviews and reconciliations are major part of it.

-Work with the HQ Tax team, understand their information needs and agree reporting requirements, format and timetable.

- Preparing and controlling payroll data.


- Minimum 6 years of experience in statutory insurance accounting

- Minimum 10 years of local accounting/tax regulations experience

-Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

-High communications and interpersonal skills

- Ability to follow up changes and adapt company practices according to the changes in regulatory environment

-Highly skilled in MS office and especially excel

- Fluent English Turkish
