We are looking for a Country HR Manager who is globally operating in Building Materials industry.

Under limited supervision coordinate, administer and report a variety of functional HR activities in C&B, Staffing Recruitment, Training Development, Industrial relations, Payroll and Administration. May be assigned as expert to one or more HR activities within Eastern European Region as functional expert. Participate to the development and implementation of local HR policies, procedures and projects. Prepare reports in compliance with legislated requirements or organization needs. Conduct analysis, interpret results and make recommendation to the management. Operate in compliance with laws, company's policies, procedures and values. Report to the country general manager and Eastern Europe HR Director.

The accountabilities of the position will be as follow
Business partner: As a Business Partner develops and executes a HR functional plan for the country
Staffing: Planning for positions needed including descriptions, in conjunction with line, including indication of levels. Organize, participate in interviews for all roles. Review contracts/offer letters. Ensure on boarding process consistently applied.
Reward and recognition: Implement, communicate and support reward strategies in conjunction with Compensation Benefits policies
Performance Management: Help improve and manage performance, ensuring retention of good performers, and performance improvement plans for poor performers. Educate and facilitate the implementation of a performance culture (including the performance management cycle).
Employee Development: assess, and recommend or identify solutions for developing skills and competencies. In addition, provide management and employees counselling if needed
Organizational Development: Collaborate with the line managers on organizational change. Read the “pulse” of the organization (including through employee opinion surveys) and devise actions to continuously develop the organizational design and culture. Act as an employee counsellor in critical cases.
Be a role model in people management and people development for the HR employees in the country
Optimizing transaction and administration costs to allow a stronger focus on strategic HR support
Ensuring the company understands and complies with all regulations that impact its ability to do business in the countries present and implement and control policies and procedures


Qualifications Experience
The ideal person will be a HR manager or HR generalist with at least 3 years of work experience and a proven track record in a multinational environment.
Experience in industrial environments is a must
Strong work ethic
Exposure to Development in particular
Track record of successfully managing change, proven experience in a similar context with strong leadership skills, combined with a huge drive and energy.
The person must be able to rapidly build and sustain credibility as a professional leader.

Integrity, organizational commitment and the ability to make decisions based on clarity of thought and persuasive argument is critical.
This person will be a self-motivated professional, with a straightforward approach to problem solving.
