We are looking for a "Lead Buyer" for our Global business partner in railway industry.

Deploying commodity strategy,
Ensuring project execution in line with QCD objectives,
Pilot contractual relationships with suppliers for sourcing scope on different Project sites,
Identification of project and business needs,
Preparation and launch of Request For Quotation with suppliers using the standard tools,
Negotiation of cost reduction with suppliers,
Contractual negotiation with suppliers, (including claim management)
Inputs provider/contributor for order placement,
Ensure QCD targets achievement,
Lead supplier QCD performance reviews,
Respect the company code of ethics and guidelines,
Consolidation of commodity needs, inputs,
Active participation to commodity strategy and panel elaboration,
According to delegation, lead commodity segments strategy,
Support of Commodity Manager in tender phase,
Represent the commodities towards projects, platforms and solutions,
Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders (engineering, quality, supply chain, etc...) in problem solving,
Apply the Sourcing process, and provide return on experience,
Closely work with sourcing project representatives, (Project Sourcing Manager, etc...)
Ensure QCD targets.

Bachelor degree from business school or engineering departments,
Minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar position,
Very good command of both written and spoken Turkish / English,
Very good knowledge of MS Office applications,
Strong interpersonal skills,
The position will be based in Istanbul / Turkey,
No restriction to travel within or out of the country,
No military obligation for male candidates.
