We are looking for a 'Market Development Manager' for our global client operating in pharmaceutical solutions.

Identify market trends, assesses market potential and develop strategies to grow market share using customer base and market data
Accountable for sales budget of the segment in the sub-region and for segment CRM funnel KPIs
Work with the sales organization to achieve quick execution of defined growth strategies
Implement the pharma value-selling strategy in the sub-region, based on the thorough analysis of the regulatory requirements, competitive environment and company's value proposition
Identify innovation opportunities
Develop and manage a portfolio of innovative customer projects in Russia, Middle East and Africa Build and maintain relationships with key customers in the region, creating win-win partnerships that provide creative solutions
Close collaboration and team-work with internal stakeholders to ensure successful closure of opportunities
Plan and execute workshops and innovation days with customers
Identify long term business opportunities with key customers
Define and implement projects with focus on key products, processes and innovation
Closely monitor competition and market
Lead contract negotiations with the respective customers and ensure the conclusion of sales contracts

Able to travel without any restrictions within the Russia, Middle East, Turkey and Africa region, and willing to travel regularly both domestically and internationally 50% of working time
Fluent in English
Bachelors/University degree in sciences, faculty of pharma, business or related field, a Master’s degree is a plus
A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and/or business development role in B2B area for specialty products and/or services to pharmaceutical industry
Experience in development, implementation, successful execution of marketing plans to generate new business in targeted market segments and prospects
Have demonstrated successful achievements within business development/commercial areas
Knowledge of industry, markets and product applications
Experience in portfolio management as well as tendering processes for the related area
Deep knowledge and understanding of trends in the Segments and ability to fine-tune the strategy to align with these trends in the region
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and in a matrix organization
Strong communication, presentation and customer facing skills
Proficient computer and analytical skills
