We're looking for a "Plant Human Resources Specialist" for our global customer operates in food industry.


Are you passionate about assisting people with the “behind the scenes stuff” so that they can be fully engaged with their job?  As a Plant Human Resources Specialist, you’ll collaborate with many diverse people and perspectives. We’ll lean on you to leverage your attention to detail and multitasking skills to strategize on operating plans and impact the bottom line with forward-thinking.  Excited about what lies ahead?  We are too.

Employee Liaison – We want someone who loves building rapport and positive relationships. You’ll serve as the initial point of contact for HR questions and inquiries by all levels of employees.

Collaboration is Key - Supporting HR Manager Turkey and Company Work Systems Centers of Excellence by assisting with administration relating to Technician Training Program, qualifications, HR metrics reporting.

Set the Pace – Getting things off to a great start is key.  You’ll help coordinate the job posting process with operations for hourly roles and related activities to include candidate screening administration, testing, and coordinating new hire orientation. You’ll support driving the overall management of Employee Relations activities for the plant including: Handling employee complaints, employee discipline, employee investigations and promoting and expanding positive employee relationships on-site.

Fresh Thinking – A continuous improvement mindset is what we are looking for.  You’ll identify and recommend process improvements to simplify various HR processes. You’ll partner with front line supervisors in HR policy, conflict resolution, relationship building, employee/labour relations, etc. which will require a high level of discretion and independent operations.

Owner’s Mindset – You’ll assist with the employee engagement program for the plant and look to drive engagement within the salaried and hourly workforce.


Bachelor’s Degree in Related Fields.

Experience in the Human Resources field.

Experience working in a union environment.

Upper Intermediate proficiency in English.

Proficiency using Microsoft Office. (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)

Proficiency in Labour Law practices in Turkey.

High level of accountability, creditability courage to drive crucial conversations.

Attention to detail with the ability to communicate effectively.

Bonus Points:

General knowledge of food industry and manufacturing practices.

Experience working closely with union representatives.

Experience using SAP.
