We are looking for a "Regional Business Development Manager" for our global partner which is operating in the logistics sector.

Drive logistics business development and growth agenda through the pro-active identification, assessment, pursuit and win of new strategic and sizable sales opportunities and through the coaching and actively supporting sales community in the clusters.
Identification and creation of logistics solutions addresses a group of customers across geography or commodity.
Collaborate with sales teams in the clusters to collectively develop a sales strategy for the identified logistics targets and opportunities.
Conduct research on strategically prioritized verticals, and target accounts (within vertical/ geography) to identify potential areas for business opportunities.
Identification of target customers together with Sales Teams and make an initial L&S opportunity assessment.
Building and maintaining senior level relationships with Supply chain and logistics stakeholders in customers (regional champions) organizations which have pan European footprints.
Ensuring sufficient levels of L&S pipeline are generated and wins are achieved to meet L&S targets.
Supporting sales in account planning to ensure our accounts plans and roadmaps are built to develop L&S partnerships in complex service models.
Owning and driving Pan-European, cross cluster sales projects for fulfilled and managed by service models and develop a structured plan on how to win the Pan European opportunities. (win-plan)
Ensure we have the right value propositions to offer our customers in geographies and verticals and building up new ones depending on changing trends and requirements.

Broaden knowledge on Forwarding, Supply Chain Management and Contract logistics experience in selling these solutions with ability to understand how logistics solutions may be leveraged to deliver strategic intent across all functions of a customer’s business,
Highly developed consultative selling approach, persuasiveness and influencing skills with the ability to handle most common customer objections,
Ability to develop comprehensive, pursuit plans for short / medium / long term objectives Leads and develops a strong pursuit team, designs goals for the team and individual members and aligns responsibilities,
Industry expertise in one of the following, (Retail, Tech, FMCG, Fruits Veg)

Strong ability to facilitate cross-functional decision-making and execution,
Min 12+ year experience in a matrix, multi-cultural logistics organisation in a commercial/business development/sales role,
Fluency in English language is required.
