Track and analyze local and global legal/compliance developments; Maintain expertise in regulations from Banking and Anti-Money-Laundering Authorities, Personal Data Protection Board, and Competition Board; Share knowledge updates with relevant stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, keep the company and all stakeholders up-to-date in that regard and, where necessary, communicate with BRSA.
Deliver business-focused legal solutions and expert advice to business units; Handle various corporate and finance documents, including loan agreements, security contracts, service level agreements, and commercial contracts; Provide transactional support, legislative research, and draft legal opinions.
Develop and implement legal and compliance policies procedures and guidance; Conduct internal training sessions.
Process official notifications, manage disputes and litigation, coordinate with external counsels as needed, and collaborate with legal/compliance colleagues across global network.
